The NHL-LWVT wide gasketed enclosure for wet or dusty locations is designed to minimize the retention of liquids or debris when hosed off. It is made of very durable materials and is available in a large selection of LED outputs up to 40,000 lumens. Made in the USA, NSF Rated, NEMA 4X and designed for and heavily used in food processing, meat processing and agricultural facilities, dairy processing, breweries, commercial kitchens and food preparation areas, pharmaceutical manufacturing, cold storage and freezer facilities. Also a good choice for dirty and dusty environments like sawmills, horse barns, carwashes, stone and tile cutting facilities and outdoor areas.

  • Housing: UL 5VA fiberglass (will not melt or burn), UL approved for through wiring. UL f1 rated (suitable for exposure and immersion of water)
  • Board & Driver Trays: LED boards are attached to a one-piece painted white steel tray. Tray securely snaps into stainless steel retractor clips, which are installed on  the housing. 
  • Gasket: "Poured-in-place" closed cell polyurethane. Compression Recovery: 95%to 99%. Will not support fungal growth.
  • Latch: Stainless steel with tamper-resistant capability.
  • Optics: All lenses are injection molded. Optional stainless steel lens tethers (which connects the lens to the board tray) are available for ease of maintenance without the possibility of dropping the lens.
  • Available in either clear or FR50 frost.
    • Acrylic: 100% impact modified (similar to DR), non-yellowing. Best in areas with UV exposure. Clear Transmission: 93%. Frosted Transmission: 88%
    • Polycarbonate: UV stabilized. Best in extreme temperature conditions (freezers/foundries). Clear Transmission: 89% Frosted Transmission: 82%
  • Lens: Smooth, shallow profile.
